Hello!

I am the young lady whose air conditioner you fixed at your shop this summer! Remember? The one in the orange toaster? (Honda Element)  I was on a road trip from Vermont to Texas and man were we dying of heat! Your kindness and speedy work allowed me to get back to Texas on time (without melting or suffering from heat stroke) and start work without missing a beat! All of the prices other mechanics were estimating to fix my car were through the roof plus the turnover time was two to three days. Your shop not only quoted me a reasonable price so I didn't have to live on raman noodles for the rest of the month, but you had it back to me THE NEXT MORNING! Not to mention you replaced my windshield wipers which also was very useful. I was amazed and SO relieved at the great work you did on my car, I can't thank you enough. I appreciate your help so much and if I take the trip again next summer I'll be sure to stop by - even if it's just for new wipers. =)

I met Eddie Wilson at Merchant’s Tires in 1996 when he was assigned to do the routine maintenance on my 1994 ES300 Lexus. After a few service calls, I realized Eddie was exceptionally knowledgeable on caring for every aspect of my car. I then made sure he was the only one who worked on my Lexus. This same car now has over 206,000 miles and I can thank Eddie for the service. And, when he does work on my car and tells me it will be ready at a certain time, I can always count on that time. The charges are always reasonable and within the lines of standard costs of repair and maintenance. Since 1996, I have recommended Eddie to many of my friends and neighbors. Once they meet him and he does the work required for their automobiles, they always call him again for service. I now realized he has a large following of customers that have been with him for several years, and for exactly the same reasons as me. We appreciate his concern and professionalism for our vehicles. I am looking forward to the opening of Gaston’s Garage and know his business will be very successful.

When it comes to the maintenance of automobiles, Eddie Wilson is absolutely one of the best. His care of my vehicle is personal. His evaluation of mechanical problems is quick and accurate. In 10 years I have never gone back to ask him to recheck a previous mechanical problem. The cost of repairs is most reasonable. I keep my vehicles until the mileage exceeds 250,000. The main reason I am able to do this is simply that Eddie has kept up on the routine maintenance for the vehicles, making sure the car runs efficiently. I trust no one more than Eddie with my vehicles! Over the years I have had a wide range of cars that Eddie has been able to solve my service issues on. From an old Honda to my Nissan Xterra Eddie has always known exactly what strengths and weakness of each car and been able to let me know the best way to address any problems. Eddie has worked on all the cars in our family for more than 5 years. This includes Mazda, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota and Volkswagen with everything from tires to timing belts, brakes and tune ups. We have also taken used cars we intended to purchase to Eddie for inspection and he's always been very thorough. As I was pondering, not so much what, but how I was going to say what I wanted to say about Eddie, it came to me from the title of the book I'm reading – The Measure Of A Man. Since I have known Eddie a long time, my husband even longer, we have grown to depend on his expert knowledge and experience and high quality of training and workmanship. As a woman, like most women, I know very little about cars and especially early on I had to depend on my husband’s choices – but over the years I have learned about the man that cares for my car and that car says volumes. If I call Eddie, he listens – if I need him, he comes and one time he even loaned me his truck so I could get home and to work the next day. My car is thirteen years old and still running beautifully thanks to my husband and Eddie. Would I recommend him? I do and I have and I will continue to.
